I absolutely love this series! Even more addictive than Twilight. The plot is constantly twisting and changing so your never bored. Includes romance, humour, drama and action on every page. An amazing series well worth reading. I love the TV show "True Blood" that was based on these books too!

I disagree - this is not at all like twilight. Twilight is full of cliche's and predictable endings. This has the proper vampire stories - going back to vampires being unable to be in contact with sunlight as well as proper battles between good and evil.

So good...like twilight for grown ups without the high school dramas! The mystery in each story keeps your interest and compels you onwards to the last page. One of those series when you don't want the story to end but you can't wait for the next instalment. Even better than the tv series it inspired.

I love this series! It goes deep into the politics of vamps and sups, though still has the love story intertwined. If you enjoy Twilight series than you will probally enjoy this as well.
