Bad Boy. Travis Maddox, handsome, built, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby needs - and wants - to avoid. He spends his nights winning money in a floating fight club, and his days as the notorious college Lothario. A disaster waiting to happen...Intrigued by Abby's resistance to his charms, Travis tricks her into his life with a simple bet. If he loses, he must remain celibate for a month. If Abby loses, she must live in Travis' apartment for the same amount of time. Or the start of something beautiful? Either way, Travis has no idea that he has met his match. Or that this is the start of an obsessive, intense relationship that will lead them both into unimaginable territory...

I am in love with this book – absolutely LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT! Jamie McGuire has quickly become one of my favorite authors after reading this book. Beautiful Disaster has everything I want in a book; great plot, great pace, great chemistry, great characters, great love story and great sex! This book had me hooked from the first page and I couldn’t put it down, I read this book in a day! The chemistry between Abby and Travis was an instant sizzle, from the moment they made eye contact, and the plot behind Abby’s past was surprising but very creative. Beautiful Disaster is about a girl, Abby Abertnathy, who started her freshman year with her best friend America at Eastern University. Abby is running away from her life back home desperate to start a new life, one that lets her blend in and not be a stand out but that was impossible the moment she caught the eye of Eastern university’s bad boy Travis “Mad Dog” Maddox at a fighting ring. When Abby loses a bet to Travis and has to stay at his apartment for a month, not only do they become best friends but they also fall in love. Abby constantly fears that Travis is too close to what she was trying to leave behind, and this tension creates a dynamic rollercoaster relationship of constantly bringing out the best and worst in each other. A significant reason that this book is so fantastic is Jamie McGuire’s ability to create characters you fall in love with. For me it’s, TRAVIS MADDOX, who makes this book – this guy is smart, sexy, hot, funny, thoughtful, tattooed bad boy that screams sex with a heart, just saying his name brings me to my knees for this guy is every girls collage dream! Then there is America the “best” best friend any girl could want or need, who stands by her best friend no matter what and understands Abby so well that she sometimes knows Abby better than she knows herself. The sympathetic character Shepley, who I constantly feel sorry for, is “Mr nice guy”, the guy who always gets stuck in the middle of his girlfriend America and his cousin Travis’s relationship with Abby. This book is a must read! I guarantee that you will love this book and fall in love with these characters as much as I have. It's a book that you can read over and over again and never get enough – it’s that addictive! I am so excited I can't wait to read Walking Disaster, a retelling of the story from Travis's point of view- I already have my book pre-ordered! Ladies get your copy now!!
